The Virginia Manufactured and Modular Housing Association (VAMMHA) is a trade association formed in 1962 by a group of "mobile home" retailers and suppliers that felt that they needed to unite and form an organization to help them individually and as a group. The trade organization grew to also include manufacturers, financial institutions and insurance companies, and at the time, mobile home parks.

Currently VAMMHA represents more than 450 companies directly or indirectly related to the manufactured housing business in Virginia. We are responsible for public and industry relations, education and lobbying. We constantly strive to better the industry in Virginia, and through our national organization, the Manufactured Housing Institute, throughout the United States.
