Last week at the VAMMHA Convention Williamsburg I was elected your new Chairman for the coming year.  It is a responsibility that I am looking forward to and one that I take very seriously.  I want every member to know that I, and the entire VAMMHA organization, are here to promote  Manufactured and Modular housing in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Please feel free to contact us with any issue that negatively or positively influences our industry.

 For those of you missed the convention last week you missed a really fun and informative meeting.  The facility was top notch as were the entertainment and speakers.  The golf and fishing tournaments were great successes (despite the heat) and a lot of money was raised for the PAC fund.  The speakers included  Jerry Creel who spoke about team building and John Rick who gave a very informative speech about Covenants and Restrictions in subdivisions.  The "Groaning Board Meal" Thursday night was very entertaining and the food was great.  One of my top priorities for the coming year is try to get even better member attendance at the convention, so don't be surprised if you get a gentle nudge to participate in next year's event.
